Permanent Flux is in pursuit of thought-provoking and visionary science fiction narratives that defy conventional perceptions and immerse readers in unfamiliar realms. If you are a writer with a compelling vision, we invite you to submit your work for consideration.

what We’re Looking For

We publish:

  • Short stories (3,000–5,000 words recommended)
  • Novellas (up to 10,000 words)
  • Speculative fiction in all flavors of sci-fi: space opera, near-future tech, alternate realities, time travel, cosmic mysteries, and more

Themes we love:

  • Thought-provoking concepts
  • Unconventional worlds
  • Complex characters navigating extraordinary situations

Note: We do not publish poetry, romance-focused stories, or content that violates copyright or includes hate speech.

Payment

  • Rate: $0.06 per word
  • Payment Terms: Paid within 7 days of acceptance
  • Rights: We request First Publication Rights and a non-exclusive license for digital and print formats. Copyright remains with the author.

Submission Guidelines

  1. Format:
    • Submit as a Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF file
    • Double-spaced, 12-point font (preferably Times New Roman or Arial)
    • Include your name, contact information, story title, and word count
